Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services seeks a Data Center Construction Manager in Chantilly, VA to lead complex data-center build projects. You will partner with Operations, Networking, Security, and Commissioning teams to deliver reliable and energy-efficient facilities that support AWS customers.

You will drive cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with vendors and contractors on-site, ensuring safety and top-tier construction practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience carrying new design concepts from exploration to deployment.
• 5+ years of MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS proficiency.
• 6+ years of construction management experience in data-center environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with GC during bidding, award, execution and closeout phases.
• Negotiate bids and evaluate proposals with accuracy.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget and quality metrics.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing to keep projects on track.
• Lead teams and ensure constructability reviews across electrical and mechanical designs.
