Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects for new and existing data centers, overseeing cost, schedule, and quality on site with contractors.

You will collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security and Commissioning, delivering energy-efficient designs and driving safety and quality. This role is based on-site at Berwick, PA, with AWS support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding and execution.
• Prepare project scope and requests for proposals.
• Analyze construction finances and budgeting.
• Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs for constructability.
• Oversee construction documents, submittals, RFIs, changes, invoicing.
• Ensure quality control and report key metrics.
• Lead cross-team collaboration across Operations, Networking, and Security.
