Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction project management for new builds and capital projects across AWS data centers. You will own the project scope, quality, schedule, and budget, and coordinate with general contractors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include directing bidding, evaluating bids, creating scope and RFIs, performing financial analyses, and driving initiatives to increase data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience taking new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Negotiate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy; create construction project scope and RFPs.
• Perform financial analysis of construction; manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs.
