Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to lead controls for AWS data center construction. You will manage BMS and EPMS scope, review MEP drawings, and develop BOMs while coordinating with diverse stakeholder teams and ensuring timely delivery.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering and extensive experience with industrial controls in critical environments, plus willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work tied to construction and project execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power & water, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of Building Management System (BMS) and EPMS for construction of AWS data centers.
• Ensure data center controls are deployed in accordance with SOW and specifications.
• Review and provide feedback on MEP drawings.
• Develop controls bill of materials (BOM).
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate difficult situations.
• Work under tight project timelines.
