Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL queries, procedures and data modeling.
• 4+ years of experience within the healthcare data environment – eligibility, claims, etc.
• 2+ years of data mapping and workflow documentation.
• 2+ years of developing and maintaining quality data routines to verify the imports/extracts.
• 2+ years of experience with Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Care Delivery models.
• Experience within an application support desk.
• Experience with database query tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively and problem solve with both business and technical audiences at all levels of the organization with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported issues and service impacts using approved tools, knowledge bases, and support procedures.
• Monitor application performance, processing quality, system health, logs, notifications, and alerts to proactively identify and address issues.
• Follow documented support processes, operational procedures, and service guidelines to ensure timely research, resolution, and communication within established service level agreements (SLAs)
• Assist with testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for assigned applications, solutions, enhancements, and releases
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve service stability
• Document incidents, resolutions, workarounds, and process updates to maintain an accurate and current knowledge repository
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve complex technical and operational issues
• Escalate incidents and service disruptions appropriately based on severity, business impact, and defined support procedures
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and release activities while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery and user experience
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, security standards, data protection requirements, and audit controls
• Provide timely status updates and clear communication to stakeholders regarding issue resolution progress, risks, and service impacts
• Participate in on-call support, incident response, and problem management activities as required
• Track, analyze, and report on support metrics, trends, and recurring issues to drive continuous improvement initiatives
