Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the respective business leader with budgeting, analysis of operating and financial results, and financial education for field teams. The analyst proactively identifies opportunities for improvements in both the sales and operational sectors.

You’ll work with Division VPs and management teams to measure performance, analyze results, and communicate findings across departments. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Experience in the financial sector with previous roles such as financial analyst.
• Proficient user of finance software.
• Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly measure and improve performance with division VP teams.
• Provide professional support for management and DVPs.
• Analyze financial results and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with all departments.
• Guide analysts on variance analysis and communicating results.
• Review weekly projections and provide feedback before release.
• Participate in annual budget process for all service lines.
• Participate in divisional MOR calls as needed.
• Collaborate with Acquisition team on budgets for new locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
