Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a senior leader to coordinate data asset risk activities for Consumer & Small Business Banking. You will manage risk related to data assets, models, EUC tools, and reports, partnering with owners, risk advisors, and technology partners to ensure governance and inventory accuracy.

You will also contribute to risk control execution and regulatory/audit support, while maintaining records across governance systems and delivering insightful risk reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data governance, data risk management, or a risk/control environment.
• Understanding of data assets such as models, EUC tools, and the risks associated with their development, use, and maintenance.
• Experience maintaining inventories and coordinating risk information within governance or risk systems.
• Experience preparing status reporting on risk, open items, and remediation progress.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts including data quality, lineage, critical data elements, and critical business processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the inventory and ongoing maintenance of CSBB data assets — including models, EUC tools, and reports — ensuring accuracy and completeness of required attributes.
• Partner with data asset owners to confirm ownership, usage, criticality, and control expectations for models, EUC tools, and reports.
• Monitor data asset risk on an ongoing basis, tracking changes to the inventory, risk ratings, and remediation of identified data asset risks.
• Coordinate data asset risk reporting for governance forums, working groups, and risk committees.
• Provide status reporting on data asset risk, including inventory changes, open items, and remediation progress.
• Maintain data asset records and required fields within the applicable inventory and governance systems of record.
