Job summary

Truist in Atlanta is seeking a data governance professional to manage controls, risk documentation, and attestation processes across business units. You will drive documentation quality and control execution with a strong emphasis on audit readiness.

Collaborating with risk, finance, audit, and technology teams, you will design and monitor controls, prepare evidence packages, and support regulatory exam readiness while ensuring accuracy and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, risk management, or a control testing environment.
• Understanding of process, risk, and control documentation and the control lifecycle.
• Experience with governance and control systems (e.g., Archer eGRC).
• Strong analytical skills with audit-defensible rationale.
• Excellent written and spoken communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and maintain data governance processes, risks, and controls.
• Execute and monitor data governance controls and quarterly/annual activities.
• Support control design and testing, including walkthroughs and evidence.
• Prepare job aids, narratives, and control artifacts.
• Coordinate attestation processes and audit readiness activities.
