Hone Health seeks a senior data leader to architect and implement a medallion lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric, enabling self-serve analytics for marketing, product, and finance in a growth DTC subscription business.

You will mentor a diverse data team and partner with leaders to define data definitions, delivering scalable data solutions across the organization in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a technical data role such as data engineering or architecture.
• Hands-on with PySpark, Python, SQL, dbt, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience building medallion architectures and production data pipelines.
• Experience deploying AI-powered tools for business users (Claude or similar).
• Strong analytics across marketing, product, and finance in a growth DTC context.
• Ability to partner with non-technical leaders to define shared data definitions.
• Experience mentoring data teams across disciplines.
• Growth-stage startup experience; comfortable with ambiguity and building from zero to one.
• Healthcare or health-tech experience is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of a medallion lakehouse in Fabric across bronze, silver, and gold layers.
• Design Claude projects and skills for self-serve data access by marketing, product, and finance.
• Partner with leaders to define and maintain a canonical business lexicon and data context.
• Create and maintain data ingestion pipelines from source systems to the lakehouse.
• Build data models and BI dashboards to support analytics for marketing, product, and finance.
• Establish data governance with lineage, documentation, and access controls.
• Mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analytics engineers, and BI analysts.
• Collaborate with growth, product, finance, and clinical teams to translate business questions into scalable solutions.
