Job summary

Skyward IT Solutions, LLC is seeking a senior data professional to lead data governance, architecture, and cloud data integration for federal contracts. You will own the data framework, ensure quality and security, and guide analytics across the program. The role demands 8+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong SQL, and experience with AWS, Tableau, Python, and Java.

U.S. citizenship and Public Trust eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience required.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience building data frameworks and governance.
• Experience with AWS and cloud data services; security and access controls.
• Familiarity with reporting, automation, and data quality initiatives.
• Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design a data management framework for client data systems.
• Build and protect a central data repository and enforce data integrity.
• Implement validation, cleansing, access controls, and disaster recovery plans.
• Automate data collection, transformation, and reporting pipelines.
• Maintain a living data dictionary and naming standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the government Contracting Officer and COR.
• Oversee the contract-wide data activities and the analytics team.
