Remote-first with on-site CJIS collaboration in West Virginia as needed. The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive Agile practices, and mentor data engineers while ensuring reliable analytics and secure data practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data architecture with lakes, warehouses and mesh.
• 5+ years with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GC).
• 2+ years leading data engineering teams.
• Degree in CS/IS/Data Eng preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, high-level design of data solutions.
• Develops scalable cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Designs ETL pipelines using AWS services for analytics.
• Collaborates to deploy domain-specific data products.
• Establishes data governance and lineage requirements.
• Maintains data catalog and governance tools.
• Leads data mesh implementation and support.
• Ensures availability and reliability of Data Mesh software.
• Provides training on data mesh concepts for stakeholders.
• Aligns data architecture with business goals; supports analytics and innovation.
