Job summary

Euna Solutions is seeking a senior data architect to define a modern data foundation on AWS. You will set reference architecture, governance posture, and engineering patterns, then build alongside the team when it matters.

You will design a layered data model from raw to cleansed to curated to a safe analytical layer, and establish controls for classification, PII, lineage, and residency across all layers. You’ll enable reusable patterns for capture, land-and-store, transform-and-serve, and

Qualifications

• Senior data architecture experience with production AWS systems.
• Fluency with medallion or layered data architectures and governance controls.
• Experience designing for data classification, PII handling, access control, lineage, and residency.
• Hands-on knowledge of managed AWS data services (Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, DMS).
• Ability to design reusable data patterns and avoid over-engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define a managed AWS reference architecture for reliable operations.
• Specify layered data model from raw to cleansed to curated to analytical layer.
• Establish governance across layers: classification, PII, access, lineage, residency.
• Create reusable engineering patterns for capture, land-and-store, transform-and-serve, govern.
• Design loose coupling from operational systems using CDC or scheduled extracts.
