Job summary

Talentola is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and optimization of our enterprise data ecosystem on AWS. You will architect data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, and real-time streaming to support core applications and analytics.

You will translate complex business rules into robust data designs, modernize on-prem systems to cloud-native solutions, and drive governance and security across the data landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in data architecture and data warehousing.
• Hands-on with AWS: Glue, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, MSK.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data manipulation and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, and real-time streaming architectures.
• Modernize on-premises data systems into cloud-native, microservices-friendly data stores.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, and compliance controls (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2).
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers, and DevOps to align data patterns with applications and CI/CD pipelines.
