Elevance Health is seeking a Business Information Consultant to serve as a data analysis and reporting expert. The role develops databases, analyzes performance, and creates dashboards to support decision-making for claims, provider, and utilization data.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL Server work and 3+ years of Tableau or PowerBI experience, with a BS/BA in a related field and at least five years of experience. This is a hybrid role based in Norfolk, VA with flexible in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience; or equivalent background.
• 5+ years of SQL Server experience highly preferred.
• 3+ years of Tableau or PowerBI experience required with ability to create dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains databases to track business performance.
• Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
• Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g., for claims, provider, utilization data) and notes deviations.
• Publishes periodic and ad hoc reports as needed.
• Translates business requirements into diagnostic and tracking data for decision support tools.
• Provides analytic consultation to other areas and leadership.
• Performs data analysis and reporting with high complexity.
