U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Sr. Macro Data Analytics Reporting Analyst in Chicago/Charlotte to turn large datasets into insights and actionable recommendations. The role combines coding with business acumen to deliver automated analytical tools and models that support data-driven decisions.

You’ll work with Python, R, SQL, and other analytics technologies, partnering with business teams to develop comprehensive solutions and measure outcomes against business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Hands-on programming with Python and/or R to develop, automate, and enhance analytical tools.
• Strong SQL experience with large datasets.
• Advanced analytics, data science, predictive or quantitative modeling.
• Ability to connect technical analysis with financial or business concepts.

Responsibilities

• Gather, integrate, and analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Use Python, R, SQL, and other tools for complex analysis to identify trends.
• Develop and improve analytical tools, models, and automated solutions.
