BMO Financial Group in Chicago is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated risk reporting solutions. You will bridge raw risk data to accurate, timely reports, leveraging AI-enabled workflows and modern data-warehouse concepts.
You will modernize legacy processes, migrate SAS-based tasks to Python/Anaconda, and collaborate with risk teams to deliver scalable, reliable reporting platforms. This role is based in Downtown Chicago with a hybrid work model.
Competenze
- 5+ years in reporting automation or data development with advanced SQL and performance tuning.
- 3+ years using Python and Shell scripting to automate workflows.
- 3+ years integrating AI features via APIs or AI-enabled tooling.
Mansioni
- Design and maintain automated reporting solutions for risk data.
- Build AI-enabled workflows to streamline data prep, validation, and reporting.
- Develop Python and Shell applications to support automation and monitoring.
- Migrate SAS-based processes to Python/Anaconda-based solutions.
- Create optimized data marts and star schemas for Power BI.
- Develop and tune SQL queries for high-performance outputs.
- Collaborate with data-reporting teams to ensure usable outputs.
