Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) in Austin, TX, seeks a Data Analyst V to perform highly complex data analyses, modeling, visualization, and reporting to support LTSS decision-making within the Provider Finance Department.

The role collaborates with stakeholders to identify analytics needs, integrates diverse data sources, and communicates findings clearly. You may lead a team of analysts and drive data quality improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or reporting related to public health or medical billing data preferred.
• At least 5 years of data analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex data analysis, financial modeling, and visualization to inform decisions.
• Lead dashboards and reports, ensuring data quality and reproducibility.
• Coordinate analytics work and mentor junior staff as a lead.
