Job summary

Peloton is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to act as a strategic partner between Global Operations & Technology and the Enterprise Data team. You will be a hands‑on analyst, aligning data strategy with supply chain and member support needs while learning from a broader data team.

You will lead metric architecture, weekly reviews, and cross‑functional measurement projects. This role requires strong SQL, Python/R, dbt skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business narratives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data analytics experience in a complex org.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and Looker or similar BI tools.
• Fluency with Python and/or R.
• Familiarity with dbt and analytics engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for multi‑stream work.
• Ability to guide teams away from misleading metrics and solve unstructured problems.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a robust metric architecture with North Star metrics and guardrails.
• Lead a weekly metrics review to report trends and strategic opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Collaborate on measurement strategy and data collection for pilots and initiatives.
• Decompose goals into testable hypotheses and analytical frameworks.
• Partner with tech and operations to design, evaluate, and interpret experiments.
• Become an in‑house expert on Peloton’s supply chain and member support data.
• Create documentation and training to promote data adoption across teams.
• Document and map data ecosystem and ensure alignment with Tech roadmaps.
