Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights for warehouse operations. You will build dashboards, design data models, and lead analytics initiatives across multiple sites to drive performance and efficiency.

You will work closely with site leadership to implement standard tools, provide data-driven decision support, and mentor teams on analytics best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent professional experience, required
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, required
• Extensive experience using SQL or other scripting languages to query, clean, and transform data, required
• Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch, required
• Proficiency in writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports, required
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources, required
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling techniques, and modern analytics trends, required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, required
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional projects, required
• Must be able to work fully onsite if role based out of a warehouse, required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements
• Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for the site or sector
• Assist various functional teams with customized analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI-related questions and analytics community initiatives
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption
• Manage analytics projects independently and across multiple sites
• Design and implement data pipelines (ETL) from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources
• Apply Python, R, or other analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation
• Stay current with modern data analytics trends and apply best practices to improve processes
• Support site startups as needed by implementing analytics tools and reporting frameworks
