Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst in Topeka, KS to perform analyses that back business conclusions with solid data research. The role sits within Data Science & Analytics and focuses on data aggregation, pipeline development, and strategic data reviews.

You will present rigorous data stories to leadership, ensure data quality, and collaborate with agile teams to optimize reporting processes and decision making. This is a full-time on-site position in Kansas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Combination of experience and education considered in lieu of a degree; Master's preferred.
• Ability to understand possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using BI and reporting apps.
• Perform ad-hoc strategic review of structured and unstructured data.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, cleanse and standardize information.
• Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage and improve performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on existing data sources.
• Present a detailed data story to multiple levels of the organization.
• Ensure quality and integrity of new and existing data sources.
• Collaborate with agile team to enhance processes and programs.
