Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst in Atlanta to perform comprehensive data analyses that support informed business decisions.

You will curate complex reports, develop data pipelines, and apply statistical methods to predict outcomes for real estate assets and markets. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a strong command of MS Office, and the ability to communicate data stories to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using BI and reporting apps.
• Perform ad‑hoc, strategic review of structured and unstructured data from global real estate markets.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights.
• Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools, including open‑source programs to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage and apply modeling to improve performance.
• Develop ad‑hoc reporting based on review of existing data sources.
• Present a detailed ‘data story’ to multiple levels of the organization.
• Ensure quality and integrity of data sources.
• Collaborate with the agile development team to enhance processes and programs.
• Explain complex information in straightforward terms.
