Job summary

CBRE Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for performing analyses to ensure recommendations are backed by sound data research. The role supports decision making within the Data Science & Analytics function and real estate asset operations.

The candidate will build data structures, pipelines, and reports, applying statistical tests and programming knowledge to derive insights and deliver comprehensive data-driven stories to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education acceptable.
• Depth of understanding of standard procedures and ability to solve slightly complex problems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using BI and reporting apps.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses of structured/unstructured data reflecting real estate markets.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, cleanse and standardize data for insights.
• Define data requirements and use statistical tests to support decisions.
• Use programming and open-source tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage and apply modeling to improve performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting from existing data sources.
• Present data stories clearly to multiple levels of the organization.
