Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services seeks a Data Analyst IV to support the Medical Product Safety Branch with data management and advanced analytics. You will work with a multidisciplinary team on Medication Safety Program studies using SAS, R, Python, and Databricks, performing complex analyses with minimal oversight and guiding junior analysts.

The role emphasizes adherence to data-use policies, collaboration across branches, and delivering clear, actionable insights to inform public health

Qualifications

• Proficiency in public health research and evaluation methods.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Experience with data management systems and data governance.
• Knowledge of government procedures and data use policies.

Responsibilities

• Support MPSB activities with a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct analyses on large administrative data using SAS, R, Python, Databricks.
• Lead analytic projects and ensure accuracy of plans, code, and results.
• Share analytic code per CDC policies and data-use guidelines.
• Mentor and guide other data analysts to meet program goals.
• Attend branch and program meetings and provide project updates.
