Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Data Analyst I to support Blood, Organs, and Other Tissues surveillance for the Medical Product Safety Branch (MPSB). The role involves assisting in antibiotic stewardship efforts, developing analytic plans, and performing data analyses with SAS and Python.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, public health, or related field, with 1–2 years of public health data experience and proficiency in SAS, R, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field.
• 1–2 years of public health data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, Python, and data manipulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Antibiotic Stewardship activities with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide consultation for plain-language resources for healthcare workers and public.
• Develop analytic plans for studies using claims-based or EHR data.
• Perform data analysis of large datasets using SAS and/or Python.
• Develop manuscripts and submit to journals.
• Interpret data from various sources to inform projects and prevention activities.
• Participate in CDC response activities and training exercises.
