Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services seeks a Data Analyst I to provide data management and analytic support for the Epidemiology Research and Innovations Branch (ERIB). You will work with administrative and health data sources, and develop code in SAS, R, Spark, SQL/Databricks for data cleaning and reporting.

Responsibilities include statistical analyses, creating tables, and supporting publications, with opportunities to participate in CDC response activities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree plus 1–2 years of relevant public health or quantitative experience.
  • Proficient in SAS, R, Python; knowledge of data management systems.
  • Experience with government procedures and ability to obtain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Apply data management and analytic expertise to public health data sources.
  • Develop and submit SAS/R/other language code for data cleaning and reporting.
  • Perform statistical analyses including frequency 2x2 and regression models.
  • Create data dictionaries and documentation with investigators.
  • Support data acquisition by preparing data use agreements and approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project leaders and partners.
  • Maintain project databases, SharePoint sites, and visualization tools.
  • Participate in meetings and CDC-related activities as needed.
