Job summary

7shifts is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with Go-To-Market and Finance, owning analytics end-to-end—from data sourcing in Snowflake to delivering actionable recommendations that drive revenue and cost management.

You will build and maintain dashboards, enable self-serve analytics, and mentor teammates while shaping the analytics roadmap in a hybrid environment with offices in Saskatoon and Toronto.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data analytics or BI with strong go-to-market reporting.
• Experience owning complex analyses end to end and translating into business decisions.
• Strong SQL in a modern warehouse and comfort with a BI tool.
• Experience with systems behind the numbers such as Stripe, Salesforce, FinQore.
• Fluency in SaaS metrics like ARR, retention, and pipeline; connect analysis to outcomes.
• Active use of AI in analytical work with quality checks.
• Cross-functional influence and mentoring of analysts.

Responsibilities

• Own GTM and Finance analytics end-to-end from scoping to data extraction from Snowflake, Stripe, Salesforce, FinQore, and delivering actionable recommendations.
• Lead strategic projects to improve how GTM and Finance operate, coordinating across teams.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and metric definitions as a single source of truth.
• Enable self-serve by simplifying data and tooling for GTM and Finance to use independently.
• Use AI to accelerate analysis and leverage semantic layers for faster insights.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to shared standards for scoping, building, and validating work.
• Help shape the analytics roadmap by surfacing GTM and Finance needs to the Data team.
