Guild Education, Inc. is hiring a Lead Forecast Modeling Analyst to scale the forecasting and financial analytics efforts. You will own and improve key forecasting components in a modular system, partnering with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Technology teams.

You will mentor juniors, drive backtesting and experimentation, and communicate forecast implications and uncertainties to non-technical stakeholders. The role may offer remote options with nationwide applicability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total experience in analytics, data science, forecasting, or FP&A.
• Strong SQL and experience transforming large datasets into reusable formats.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R with time-series forecasting expertise.
• Experience operationalizing models—backtesting, validation, monitoring, drift detection, retraining.
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, Omni, or similar visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve usage-based forecasting models for clients' education benefit.
• Raise forecast accuracy and shorten the monthly refresh cycle with backtesting and experimentation.
• Translate modeling logic into well-structured, tested code with robust documentation.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Tech teams.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
• Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on forecast drivers and business impact.
