Job summary

Signet Jewelers Limited in Akron, OH seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Signet Diamond Sourcing, focusing on inventory accounting, COGS, and gross margin.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, develop SQL queries, dashboards, and deliver timely data-driven insights to optimize inventory management and operating efficiency. A CPA/CMA is a plus; 3–5 years of finance experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics and 3–5 years of financial analysis and accounting experience.
• Experience in inventory, COGS, or related field; CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP with focus on inventory and COGS accounting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on key financial metrics including inventory, reserves, gross margin, and COGS.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports for management decisions.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
