Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Signet Diamond Sourcing (SDS) Finance in the United States. You will support inventory accounting, COGS, and gross margin analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize performance.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, performing variance analyses, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership, with strong SQL, ERP, and data visualization skills central to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics with 3–5 years of financial analysis and accounting experience.
• Retail/wholesale/e‑commerce exposure is desirable.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, especially inventory and COGS accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on key financial metrics including inventory balances, gross margin, and COGS.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports for management decisions.
• Assist month-end close activities with journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for visibility into financial and operational results.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations to ensure accurate COGS reporting.
