Job summary

Signet Jewelers, the world's largest diamond jewelry retailer, is seeking an Analyst to deliver financial forecasting, reporting, and analytics across multiple brands. You will work with complex data sets and financial models to provide monthly, quarterly, and annual insights to senior management.

The role emphasizes collaboration with FP&A partners and brand leaders to drive budgeting accuracy, performance analysis, and continuous process improvements within the department.

Qualifications

• Provides analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support to the Financial Planning department.
• Works with complex data and financial modeling processes.
• Creates and analyzes complex monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Identifies trends and reports findings to senior management.
• Has significant input in design and implementation of on-going process improvements of reporting or forecasting tools used within the department.

Responsibilities

• Execute, maintain, and enhance financial forecasting and reporting models to support accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting throughout the year.
• Prepare and analyze financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior year performance; prepare multiple scenarios for leadership as required.
• Maintain and present drivers of performance, including key metrics and financial indicators.
• Support the validation of partner reporting and payments, including profit-share calculations and forecast-to-actual reconciliations.
• Perform detailed variance and trend analysis on profit model and KPIs; clearly communicate findings, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Provide comprehensive performance analysis of the full profit and loss model monthly.
• Partner with Financial Services and brand leadership to assess business trends and impacts.
• Prepare and analyze revenue, expense, and budget/forecast accounts; develop and distribute budget templates.
• Deliver financial analyses to support ongoing programs, new initiatives, and special projects, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis, including conclusions and actionable recommendations, in response to management requests.
• Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements across financial reporting and forecasting activities to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business operations.
