Job summary

Brightspeed's Senior Data Analyst builds scalable datasets, reports, and analytical solutions to enable data-driven decision-making across Finance PMO, Process Excellence & Business Optimization, and Internal Audit & Controls.

You partner with finance stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable analytics, develop SQL queries and data pipelines in Google Cloud BigQuery and Python, and deliver executive-ready insights with a focus on data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, Finance, Analytics, Math, Stats, Information Systems) is required.
• 7+ years of experience developing scalable datasets, reporting solutions, and insights.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably GCP.
• Experience with large-scale data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse environments.
• Certifications in Data Analytics, Cloud Tech, or related fields are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives and translate questions into scalable analytic solutions.
• Focus areas include Financial, Statistical, and Billing System data.
• Extract, integrate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources for reporting and decision-making.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and analytical models using BigQuery and Python.
• Design, build, and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards for insights.
• Validate data accuracy and reconcile results across systems with stakeholders.
• Analyze trends and present findings through visualizations for executives.
• Support data engineering, analytics, reporting, and data warehouse migrations.
• Contribute to scalable datasets and reusable analytical assets to improve reporting efficiency.
