Job summary

Happy Money is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics to partner across Credit, Operations, Marketing, Product and Finance. You will translate complex data into actionable insights that guide decision making and help the business scale responsibly.

You’ll work with large datasets in a cloud environment, build dashboards in Tableau, and collaborate with Data Engineering to refine data workflows in Databricks. Strong SQL, Python or R, and clear storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in financial services or FinTech.
• Strong SQL skills with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Proficiency in Tableau with dashboards for business users.
• Python and/or R for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with Databricks/Spark and distributed computing.
• Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Excellent communication to distill analyses into clear narratives.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate analytical workflows using Python and/or R, with code managed through GitHub.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau for key metrics across departments.
• Partner with Data Engineering to refine data workflows in Databricks.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses with clear leadership recommendations.
• Monitor data quality and identify anomalies in key metrics.
• Document methodologies and seek efficiency improvements for scalability.
