Kraken is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst, Compliance to join our global remote team.

You will own end‑to‑end data management for the Compliance group, building datasets and dashboards, and developing production data pipelines to support transaction monitoring across deposits and withdrawals. You will translate compliance requirements into production detection logic, evaluate rules and models, and design robust historical evaluations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, and data management in fintech/crypto/financial services
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production data systems
• Hands-on experience using dbt or similar tooling to model high-fidelity data
• Experience with BI dashboards and data visualization tools

Responsabilités

• Own the logic and rule-setting behind transaction monitoring across deposits and withdrawals
• Translate compliance requirements into production detection logic with alert and threshold handling
• Develop and maintain Python and SQL pipelines for data preparation and detection workflows
• Evaluate detection rules and models for coverage and alert quality
• Design reproducible evaluations on historical data considering labels and shifts in customer behaviour
• Own testing, deployment and monitoring of detection workflows and data quality issues
• Execute historical backfills with validation and traceability and maintain alert delivery integrations
• Experiment and translate insights into action while following software engineering best practices
