Job summary

Kraken, the leading cryptocurrency platform, seeks a Data Analyst for Regulatory Analytics and Reporting to work remotely. The role turns complex compliance data into actionable insights for regulators and senior leadership.

You’ll design dashboards, automate data pipelines with Python, SQL, dbt and Airflow, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit-ready reporting across AML, KYC, sanctions, MiFID, and MiCA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis and data management within financial services or a regulated industry.
• Experience with AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID reporting.
• Strong SQL skills and Python data libraries (pandas, matplotlib, plotly).
• Experience with dbt and data workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports for stakeholders and regional officers.
• Automate end-to-end compliance data solutions and workflows to boost efficiency.
• Develop scalable, audit-ready data models for regulatory reporting.
• Translate regulatory and business requests into accurate reports and data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
• Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams.
• Coordinate data quality monitoring and remediation with responsible teams.
• Support ad-hoc data requests for audits, exams, risk assessments.
