Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Business Data Analyst to analyze requests and design automated systems aligning with user needs and industry requirements. You will translate business requirements into system specifications, configure settings, and support testing and implementation across complex processes.

As a liaison among clients, programmers and QA, you will document needs, create flowcharts, and drive design decisions that improve operational performance while ensuring security and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with end-users to meet business needs and translate requirements into system specs.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between clients, programmers and test analysts; analyze, design, configure, test and maintain complex systems.
• Consult with management to document business needs, procedures, data scope, and access requirements.
• Lead meetings, develop business specifications and flowcharts for programmers.
• Assist with project planning and may coordinate small development efforts.
