Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Business Data Analyst to analyze business requests and design automated solutions that meet user needs and industry requirements. You will translate requirements into precise system specifications and collaborate with end-users, developers and testers to deliver reliable outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, planning system changes, validating implementations, and supporting training and user guidance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as CS, MIS or business.
• Typically at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with end-users to meet business needs.
• Scripting knowledge and bankcard industry knowledge.
• Understanding data structures.
• Working towards CBAP certification.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between client end-users, programmers and testers to ensure optimal performance.
• Document business needs and translate them into system requirements.
• Design, configure, test, and maintain complex systems supporting business processes.
• Develop training materials and documentation for system installations and upgrades.
• Support planning, validation, and testing to ensure successful implementations.
• Assist with project planning and progress reporting when needed.
