Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Business Data Analyst to analyze business requests and design automated systems. You will translate user needs into system requirements, collaborate with end-users, developers and testers, and document the full specifications and data flows.

The role focuses on process improvement, design of screens and databases, and ensuring compliant, scalable solutions across payment systems. A CBAP is a bonus and cross-functional leadership is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience working with end-users.
• Scripting knowledge and bankcard industry context are preferred.
• Experience translating business needs into system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between client end-users, programmers and testers.
• Analyze complex requirements and design automated system scopes.
• Document requirements and translate into system specifications.
• Lead design, configuration, testing and maintenance of systems.
• Prepare reports, data flows and implementation plans.
• Provide ongoing support and issue resolution across systems.
