Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role delivering analysis that shaped real decisions.
• Strong SQL — independently query, join, and model data in a cloud warehouse; Python is a plus.
• Data platform fluency — understand modern cloud data architectures, data pipelines, and schemas.
• Technical writing skills — write clear data dictionaries, metric definitions, runbooks, and how-to guides.
• Rigor and clarity — validate numbers, explain assumptions, and communicate findings simply.
• AI-forward mindset — actively use AI tools to improve work and stay current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analysis that drives decisions — scope questions with stakeholders, pull and model data, and turn it into findings and recommendations.
• Be the go-to expert on the platform's data — know the data model and answer consumer questions about data meaning and usage.
• Own metrics and definitions — define, validate, and maintain key metrics across the platform.
• Write technical documentation — document data sources, schemas, metric definitions, and query patterns for self-service.
• Enable self-service — build reusable queries, dashboards, and how-to guides for other teams.
• Safeguard data quality — profile sources, flag anomalies, and partner with data engineering to resolve issues at the source.
• Bridge to the platform — translate consumer needs into feedback and onboard teams onto new data.
• Work AI-forward — use AI tools to draft SQL, summarize findings, and produce documentation.
