Job summary

RealPage is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the Lumina Data Platform. You’ll turn complex data into clear answers and write guides that make self-service easy for teams across the company.

You will analyze data near the platform, document data sources, metrics, and definitions, and leverage AI tools to accelerate insights and documentation. Remote-friendly, US-based candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role delivering analysis that shaped real decisions.
• Strong SQL — independently query, join, and model data in a cloud data warehouse; Python is a plus.
• Data platform fluency — understanding of cloud data architectures, pipelines, and schemas.
• Technical writing skills — write clear, organized data dictionaries, metric definitions, runbooks, and how-to guides.
• AI-forward mindset — actively use AI tools to raise quality and speed of work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analysis that drives decisions — scope questions with stakeholders, pull and model data from the platform, and turn it into clear findings and recommendations.
• Be the go-to expert on the platform's data — develop deep knowledge of the data model, data it holds, and how to use it.
• Own metrics and definitions — define, validate, and maintain key metrics across the platform.
• Write technical documentation — document data sources, schemas, metric definitions, and query patterns.
• Enable self-service — build reusable queries, dashboards, and how-to guides for teams.
• Safeguard data quality — profile sources, flag anomalies, collaborate with data engineering.
• Be a bridge to the platform — translate consumer needs into feedback for the platform team.
• Work AI-forward — use AI to draft SQL, summarize findings, and produce docs.
