Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solution Engineer to drive adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform for customers globally. You will lead technical discussions, design architectures, and guide deployments with open-source integrations like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.

You will collaborate with sales, post-sales, and product teams to identify value, champion customer success, and deliver scalable data solutions across cloud environments. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers to understand use cases and requirements.
• Develop architectures and solutions using the Databricks platform.
• Provide guidance through implementation and drive customer value.
• Create reference architectures, demos, and how-tos for customers.
• Travel to customer sites within your region.
