Job summary

Databricks in the United States is seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to partner with Account Executives in Travel & Hospitality within Retail SA. You will define and direct the technical strategy for large accounts, driving ML & AI adoption across use cases in Retail/CPG.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Retail/CPG with ARR > $1m.
• 4+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• Data-driven business transformation experience.
• 3+ years design/implementation in big data tech (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP) or full lifecycle data science.
• Production data systems maintenance and evolution.
• Production programming in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Databricks certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for up to 9 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members.
