Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with customers, own architecture, and deliver end-to-end data & AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will lead design decisions, implement production-grade systems, and ensure scalable, secure deployments while aligning with customer goals.

This hands-on role demands strong programming in Python/Scala/JavaScript, cloud experience, and the ability to work across data engineering, ML, and application development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design decisions for production-grade data/AI solutions.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and application development.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
• Provide feedback to product teams and contribute to reusable assets and accelerators.
