Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to lead production-grade data and AI solutions for enterprise customers.

You will own architecture, drive design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development with strong customer empathy. You will deliver scalable architectures, guide transformational big data initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and value realization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering
• Proficient in Python, Scala or JavaScript/TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade solutions and build reference architectures
• Guide end-to-end big data projects including data pipelines and ML/AI model integration
• Bootstrap or implement customer projects to ensure adoption and value
• Own architecture decisions ensuring security and scalability
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, architects and customer teams
• Provide product feedback and rapid issue resolution
• Engage with stakeholders across technical ICs to executives
• Develop accelerators and best practices for scale across accounts
