Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Senior Dam Safety Engineer to join our team. This role involves performing dam safety evaluations and collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies. We're seeking someone with over 15 years of experience and an active PE license in good standing.

The position offers a competitive salary between $165,000 and $250,000, flexible working conditions, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k) match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience, including dam safety evaluations.
• Active PE License in good standing required.
• Previously performed the role of FERC-approved Independent Consultant or CDSE.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety work, including FERC Part 12D inspections.
• Lead PFMA and L2RA workshops.
• Oversee hydrological and structural evaluations of dams.
• Write dam safety reports and manuals.
