McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join our team across the United States. A licensed PE with dam safety expertise and FERC experience is required; role supports remote work and flexible hours for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include client interaction, project management, and regulatory compliance on federally regulated hydro projects. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of consulting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• ABET/ACOE accredited degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical engineering.
• Active PE license in good standing required.
• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience including FERC Part 12D, dam safety evaluations, and dam engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety work including FERC Part 12D inspections and CDSE-type services.
• Lead PFMA and Level 2 Risk Analysis workshops.
• Oversee evaluations of dams, embankments, and levees; prepare safety reports.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development and project scheduling.
