Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join our team. This position can be fully remote and is suitable for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in civil, structural, hydrological, or geotechnical engineering as it relates to dam safety evaluations.

Responsibilities include conducting dam safety inspections, leading analysis workshops, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience and a comprehensive understanding of federal and state dam safety standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience including dam safety evaluations.
• Active PE License in good standing.
• Knowledge of federal and state dam safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety related work including FERC inspections.
• Lead potential failure modes analysis workshops.
• Write dam safety reports and operation manuals.
