McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Dam Safety Engineer - FERC-IC to join our team. The role offers a fully remote arrangement with flexible hours for the right candidate and requires a PE license, extensive FERC Part 12D and dam safety experience, and strong client relationships.

We operate across the United States in dam safety, hydrology, geotechnical and structural engineering. Expect project management, collaboration with clients, and leadership in safety-focused initiatives and training.

Competenze

• B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Active PE License in good standing.
• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience with FERC Part 12D and dam safety.
• Experience as PMFA/L2RA facilitator or eligible.

Mansioni

• Perform dam safety work including FERC Part 12D inspections.
• Lead PFMA and L2RA workshops.
• Oversee hydrological, geotechnical, and structural evaluations of dams, embankments, dikes, and levees.
• Prepare and review dam safety reports and related documents.
• Manage clients, projects, and deliverables.
• Provide dam safety training and lead EAP exercises.
• Conduct meetings, present findings, and advise clients and regulators.
• Lead or support remedial designs for various dam types.
• Mentor junior staff on dam safety topics.
• Assist in marketing, proposals, and project scheduling.
