McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join our team in multiple locations across the United States, including the option for remote work. A licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering is essential for this role, which involves dam safety evaluations and collaborations with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience with dam safety evaluations.
• Active PE License in good standing is required.
• Previously performed the role of FERC-approved Independent Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety related work, including FERC Part 12D inspections.
• Conduct Potential Failure Modes Analysis and Level 2 Risk Analysis workshops.
• Write all types of dam safety reports and manage clients.
