Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years in water resources and dam engineering.
• Strong knowledge of dam safety regulations, codes and standards.
• Experience leading dam repair and removal design efforts.
• Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Working knowledge of CAD-based design tools.
• Excellent project management, communication and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% across New England.

Responsibilities

• Lead dam repair and dam removal projects from planning through design, permitting and construction support.
• Develop project scopes, fees, schedules and budgets; oversee contracts and delivery.
• Prepare and review engineering analyses, reports, plans, specs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting and grant applications with local, state and federal authorities.
• Apply hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support design and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams across New England.
• Support business development, including funding strategy and proposals.
• Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior and mid-level engineers.
