Job summary

Freese and Nichols seeks a Senior Project Manager and Technical Leader for water resources and heavy civil infrastructure, focusing on dams, levees, and hydraulic structures across the Southeast U.S., including NC and GA.

The role demands 15+ years of dam/levee engineering experience, PE licensure, and proven ability to lead complex projects while mentoring staff and expanding the practice. Hybrid work with occasional travel is available.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in dams, levees and hydraulic structures.
• Proven ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Active mentoring of staff and growth of technical practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead large dam and levee projects from planning through construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multi-office teams.
• Serve as a technical expert in dam and levee engineering, including design and rehabilitation.
